New Delhi, December 1: Anir Ban Ghosh and Sagarika Mukherjee, both of West Bengal, emerged the champions in the sub-junior sections of the National Ranking (North Zone) Table Tennis Championships at the Thyagraj Stadium here today.

Sathiyan of Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) had a good day in office when he emerged champion in the Youth Boys category of the National Ranking (North Zone) Table Tennis championships underway at the Thyagraj Stadium here today. He defeated team mate Harmeet Desai 4-11, 11-8, 4-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-6, 11-5 in the best of seven games final.
In a way, it was the second successive title loss for Harmeet
New Delhi, November 29: Left proved right at the National Ranking (North Zone) Table Tennis Championships yet again. And Petroleum’s Sanil Shetty defeated team mate Harmeet Desai 4-1 (11-8, 11-7, 9-11, 11-9, 12-10) to win the men’s singles title at the Thyagraj Stadium here today. The victory for Sanil was worth Rs. 66,000 in prize money and 90 valuable ranking points.
